We at Cathay Jewelry are dedicated to ensuring you are satisfied with your jewelry or diamond purchases with us. If for any reason you are not satisfied, with any online purchase(not store purchase) you can return your purchase in its original condition within 14 days of the date of shipment for a full refund of the purchase price, minus shipping and handling charges, or for an exchange.

Return Instructions:
For a return, please follow the following instructions:

1. Call us at 212-226-4888 during business hours from 10am to 7pm EST Monday to Sunday to notify us of your return. Once we have validated your purchase, we will give you a return code. Please indicate this return code at the bottom of the original receipt.
2. Ensure that your return is properly packaged to include all original packagin

If your item was delivered with a diamond certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $250 replacement cost.
The original receipt with the return code indicated at the bottom must be included. |
3. Insure Your Package. Be sure to ship your item fully insured, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination*. For purchases more than $500, ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail™ insured for the total value of the contents (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.) All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
4. Ship the return package to the address indicated on the packing slip.
5. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Please note that your original shipping, handling, or other additional costs will not be refunded. |
*Cathay Jewelry will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments.
Please note that upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department. Items showing wear or those that have been altered or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no return code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt.
Returns to Cathay Jewelry Retail Stores
You can also choose to return your purchase to one of our retail stores. Please check our website at www.cathayjewelrynyc.com for our store locations. Please note that items purchased at a retail store may NOT be returned by mail to our online store. Simply bring your purchase in its original packaging including the diamond certificate if applicable, and the original receipt. Please note that your original shipping, handling, or other additional costs will not be refunded.

For shipments within the 48 contiguous United States, After your purchase has been packaged, it will be shipped via one of the following carriers. The carrier used depends on your order value and destination. |

Please allow processing time of approximately 2 to 3 business days and delivery time of approximately 3 to 5 business days from date of shipment, except for backordered item. Once your purchase has been shipped, the tracking number of your shipment will be provided to you via email. A signature is required for all deliveries for your protection. For international purchases, additional shipping and handling charges will be applied. All international purchases should be made over the telephone with one of our customer representatives.
Sales Tax
Local taxes, if applicable, will be added to your order. Cathay Jewelry only collects sales tax for New York State.

Although we at Cathay Jewelry make our best effort to ensure the availability of our stocks is updated instantaneously, if the item you selected became out of stock after you have made your purchase, our customer representative will notify you and a refund of your payment will be processed immediately. You can also choose to call our customer representative at 212-226-4888 prior to placing your order to ascertain the availability of the item.
Bank Wire:
Receive a 1.5% discount when you pay by bank wire. A bank wire is a convenient method for paying for your purchase. After you place your order, we will give you the account information you will need to provide to your bank in order to transfer funds from your account directly to a Cathay Jewelry account. A bank wire may take your bank a few days to process. Once your bank has transferred the funds, Cathay Jewelry is immediately notified and your purchase is processed.
